I would like to give a big round of applause to all of our students here at North Avondale Montessori School.  Our participation in the American Heart Association’s Jump Rope for Heart program was a huge success!  As a school we collected $6,817.80 in donations from family members, friends, and relatives in order to help support the prevention of heart disease.  We had 2 students each collect over a $1,000.00.  Our JRFH representative stated that out of the 220 schools he works with, there were only 3 students who collected more than a $1,000 and we had 2 of the 3.
