Rocket Run FUNdraiser 2016 Tomorrow
Kids will participate in a fun run on
Friday, October 7 during the school day. You can participate by making a donation, and sharing the information with family and friends.
NAM Family Campout Rescheduled
The NAM Campout is re-scheduled for
October 8th!
THIS WEEKEND
Once again, we’ll be at the Morgan’s Riverside Campground. Sites are reserved for NAM families and become available at 12p. Register at the camp store when you arrive, and they’ll direct you to our sites. The fee is $7 per adult camper/$6 per child camper/$25 per family max. We’ll serve dinner, smores, and light breakfast. Please bring your tent and sleeping bag, as well as a potluck dish to share, snacks, and your own drinks/cups/water bottles.
It’s a great campsite with a lot to offer! We’ll have a canoe trip available, bike trail, as well as a campfire and a night hike. If you’re interested in canoeing on Saturday or Sunday, please email Dave Morrison (davemo@fuse.net), so he can make arrangements.

Foundation Fundraiser Updates
Thank you NAM Community for supporting our first two FUNdraisers – we are getting us off to a good start for the year.
Movie Night raised $302.24. We had about 30 students attend. Be on the lookout for the next Movie Night coming in November.
Moms and Margaritas raised $450.00. We hope to have another of these events in January.
Don’t wait! Get your Rocket Run pledge in today for our Rocket Run TOMORROW, Friday October 7th. Look for the Paypal donate button at namrockets.org or send in your donation with your student. Checks can be made out to NAM Foundation. All donations to the NAM Foundation are tax deductible.

Walnut Hills Shadowing Opportunities
Registration for the Walnut Hills High School Shadowing program opened on their website October 1, 2016. Shadowing details are available on the shadowing website.
–Once the spots are filled, there will be a wait list upon request until they meet their limit. (No exceptions)
–Shadowing will take place Monday thru Thursday during school hours during the months of November, January and February
–Registration can only be done through their website, under the parent section
–The Shadow email (walnut@cps-k12.org) and voice-mail (513-363-8698) will be monitored a few days a week during the months of October-February. You cannot register here.

Clark Montessori Shadowing Info
Currently, Clark’s shadowing days are full, but they are accepting names on their waiting list. They plan to open more dates for shadowing, so if you would like to be included, please call 513-363-7100 to add your child’s name to the list.

-Ages 3-12 years old for boys and girls

Offering: Ballet, Modern Dance, Jazz, Tap, and Musical Theatre!
-Students get to perform in the Spring Recital and school assembly!
-CONVENIENCE & COST EFFECTIVENESS: we provide supervision between school and when your child’s dance class begins.
-ALSO NEW THIS YEAR: we’re offering school holiday camps for in-service days, random school holidays, and snow closings. They will be at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center, 5 minutes away from NAMS. Check mlco.org/classes for info!
