ARTIFACTS From The NAM Art Department, Published By: Lillian Carter, Visual Art Specialist
Dear: NAM Families,
For the past few weeks art students in grades K-6 have been very busy creating beautiful drawings for a fundraiser supporting NAM’s Foundation. Today students will bring home their personalized order forms. NAM’s art department has been working with a company named “Art To Remember.” During art class students created colorful illustrations which will be printed on over thirty keepsake products. This fundraiser is designed to allow families to order products decorated with their child’s art work. Orders forms and payments are due back to NAM on Wednesday, October 22nd. The Art To Remember company will return printed products back to NAM in December to allow families the opportunity to give their child’s art product as a gift for the holiday or any special occasion. It has been a joy watching NAM students create beautiful art images. So please consider making a purchase to support a young artist and our school’s Foundation. A Special Addition to this project:

  • Students who were absent or unable to complete art for this program should see Ms. Carter for the company paper and a blank order form. You may still order if you complete the art work and return it back to Mrs. Carter by Oct. 22nd.
  • Preschoolers, siblings to NAM students or classroom teachers who would like to create art and have their images produced on products may also participate by securing a blank order form with company paper and return art to Mrs. Carter by Wed. Oct. 22nd.

The NAM Student Council has organized a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Foundation. Please consider making a contribution. Congratulations to our 2014-2015 elected Student Council Officers – President – Mia Roemhild, Vice President – Sabine Verhaak, Treasurer – Theo Niemann, Secretary – Maleah Gentry.
