Artifacts News From The NAM Art Department
The Art To Remember Project
The art work products that were ordered by NAM families will be delivered sometime during this week. Thank you to families who supported this art project with our Foundation.
The 35th Anniversary of the International Year of The Child
The NAM art department designed a banner commemorating the historical anniversary of
the International Year of The Child. Mrs. Carter wrote a resolution which the board of
education will adopt commemorating this historical event for the district to implement. Art
students reviewed the ten rights then created picture images illustrating the principles from the Declaration of Rights of the Child. These rights were unanimously adopted by the
General Assembly of the United Nations on November 20, 1959. Thirty five years ago the
international year of the child was declared. Mrs. Carter and the art apprentice will present
the banner to board members and the superintendent during the Monday, November 17th
board meeting at 7:00pm.
The NAM student artists are: Mia Roemhild, Kayla Bryant, Lauren Dameron, El-Amin Bajo,
Maya Holtzman, Reagan Holtzman, Ayah Harper, Shania Barnett, Sabine Verhaak, Warner
Sanker, Diana Hutchinson and Hannah Kershner, narrator.
