Movie Night

Hey, NAM parents! Last call to sign up to help for this Friday’s movie night. We *really* need parent chaperones in the gym during the movie. If you are available, please come spend 2 hours at NAM Friday evening to aid in this fundraiser. We really need your help. Otherwise, we may need to postpone.

6th Grade D.C Trip Registration
CURRENT SIXTH GRADE STUDENTS It’s time to register for the DC trip!
Informational meeting will be TOMORROW,
FRIDAY SEPT 23 at 7:45am
in NAMS cafetorium.
(If you are unable to come to this meeting there will be two others in the coming weeks. You only need to come to one. See website for details).

NAM Garden Club
Campus Clean-up Day (with the Dad’s Group)
When: Saturday, September 24
Time: 9 am – 12 pm
Where: Various locations around the campus, including the greenhouse and amphitheater.
Needs: Garden equipment, pick-up trucks, seeds or plants appropriate for fall planting.
Please join us any time you might be available between 9 and 12 on Saturday. We’re looking forward to beautifying the campus, working in the greenhouse and doing some fall planting. (Many of our students need community service hours so feel free to bring them along).
Camping Trip to be Rescheduled
The Fathers Group would love to include as many families as possible in the NAM Family Campout. We are asking for your help in finding the best weekend to reschedule the big event. The campgrounds are available on October 8-9 and October 15-16.

We are still in need of room parents for the following classrooms:

Walnut Hills Shadowing
Registration for the Walnut Hills High School Shadowing program will open on their website October 1, 2016. Shadowing details are available on the shadowing website.
–There will be 370 openings
–The openings will likely fill up before the end of the second registration day (10/2/2016)
–Once the 370 spots are filled, there will be a wait list upon request until they meet their limit. (No exceptions)
–Shadowing will take place Monday thru Thursday during school hours during the months of November, January and February
–Registration can only be done through their website, under the parent section
–The Shadow email (walnut@cps-k12.org) and voice-mail (513-363-8698) will be monitored a few days a week during the months of October-February. You cannot register here.

There’s still time to sign up for afterschool dance at NAMS!!!
-Ages 3-12 years old for boys and girls

Offering: Ballet, Modern Dance, Jazz, Tap, and Musical Theatre!
-Students get to perform in the Spring Recital and school assembly!
-CONVENIENCE & COST EFFECTIVENESS: we provide supervision between school and when your child’s dance class begins.
-ALSO NEW THIS YEAR: we’re offering school holiday camps for in-service days, random school holidays, and snow closings. They will be at the Clifton Cultural Arts Center, 5 minutes away from NAMS. Check mlco.org/classes for info!

Learn new skills with your friends and build new friendships!
We will focus on building rhythm, coordination, confidence, showmanship, and tap style.

CONVENIENCE & COST EFFECTIVENESS: we provide supervision between school and when Boys Tap begins.
