Parents,
This is the last weekend prior to 4th Quarter mid-terms going home on the April 25th. Please make sure your child has all their work projects and reports turned in to their teacher. Missing work is the main reason why grades are below a “B”! Ohio Achievement Assessments will start in 12 Days. Help your child prepare by working on Study Island.
Mother’s Day Flower Sale. The Sale for the kids will be on Thursday, May 8th and Friday May 9th. As in recent years, teachers, staff, and parents are welcome to shop end of day on Friday. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS Thursday & Friday, all day. Time to sign up your class to sponsor a Field Day Booth!! ROOM PARENTS are responsible for choosing an activity on behalf of their classroom. Still time to submit your name for next year’s LSDMC or PTO. Open positions: LSDMC Parent Representative, PTO Vice President and PTO At-Large member. LSDMC (Local School Decision Making Committee) is the primary governing body for NAM. This committee meets once a month to offer input into important decisions that impact students’ lives and shape their educational experiences. The PTO Vice President assists the president in planning, volunteer support, and communications. No experience needed – the PTO team will teach you all we know, and the rest we can all learn together! Congratulations to Bob Zavon for qualifying for the National Gymnastics Competition in Long Beach, California in May. Bob earned his spot by qualifying at a gymnastics meet in Ann Arbor, Michigan against over 100 “Level 8” gymnasts from 5 states. Good Luck Bob!

•Library Book Alert! Attention all NAM Parents and Students! April is the last month for checking out library books! We will be collecting/organizing library books in the month of May. So make sure you are checking out books to enjoy now and begin looking for (or planning to pay for) books that have been lost! I will send a list to all teachers at the end of April.
