School will resume on Monday, January 5, 2015.  We look forward to seeing you as we begin 2nd semester.  2nd quarter report cards will go home with your child on Friday, January 9th.

Canned Food Drive – We received  272 pounds from your collection. Donations like this are vital in helping us serve the thousands of children and adults in the tri-state area that need assistance. Thank you again for your support of the Freestore Foodbank and its mission.

Artifacts: News From The NAM Art Department
The art department is collecting large wrapping paper tubes.    We need donations of the large cardboard tubes from gift wrapping paper.  Please save your holiday tubes and send them in to the art room. Students in grades 1-6 will be creating “Rain sticks.” This project is a special art, music and sound project. This is a collaborative assignment with both fine arts teachers. Students will start designing rain sticks in January

If you are going to pick up your child prior to the 2:15 dismissal, please send a note with your child.  If you do not send a note with your child, you must contact the office before 1:30 p.m.  Constant last minute interruptions are causing problems with the teacher’s instruction.  Also, when you are picking up your child for early dismissal, we can not request homework at that time.  Please contact your child’s teacher for homework.

Please ask your child to check the Lost & Found for missing things. Items will be donated to charity at the end of each quarter.
