Prospective Parent Open House for Preschool and Kindergarten Sunday, November 5
1:00-3:00pm
If you know anyone who is interested in NAM for Preschool or Kindergarten, please let them know about our upcoming Open House for Prospective Parents. Several of the 6-9 teachers will be on hand to answer questions and mini tours will be given.

 NAM Garden Club
If you have a child that is interested in gardening and wants to be part of the Garden Club, please contact Megan DeWitte atDeWitteM74@gmail.com. The club will start planting veggies by the end of October and will run a few experiments. (Time/date tentative, maybe Tuesdays at 2:30pm). |
 SHADOWING INFO FOR 6TH GRADERS
For Gamble Montessori:
Shadow Days on Tuesdays starting October 17
Call 363-2602 to schedule a shadow Tuesday.
9am – student shadows a Gamble student while parent takes a tour
9:30am – (optional) parents meet with principal
3:00pm – parent picks up student in office
(earlier pickup can be arranged)
Lunch is provided, student should bring pen and pencil.

For Clark Montessori:
To reserve a spot, call 363-7100 as soon as possible.
The Shadow dates are October 26, and 27; and November 9, 16, and 27; December 1 and 7; and January 12 and 19.
Shadowing at Clark starts with a school tour from 8:30-10am, and then the prospective student shadows from 10am-1:45pm.

Shadowing Verification form that came in the Welcome Back packet or can be obtained in the office.**

 It’s that time of year again for K-6th grade students!
Beginning this week, students can log books for the Xavier student reading program.
Username: XAVIER
Password: 2017READ
(both are case sensitive)
Check the website to see what great prizes your children can win.
**Additional incentive by Mrs. Simpson** For every 4 books your child reads and documents (on the media center form), Mrs. Simpson will personally log their books (Parents will NOT need to log books if your child brings in the form to Mrs Simpson). Once she has logged their books, she will issue a BookIt certificate from PizzaHut for a FREE personal pan Pizza from PizzaHut. Parents, if you choose to log your child’s books online, be sure to send Mrs. Simpson an email (simpsop@cpsboe.k12.oh.us) Xavier prizes are not received until January 2018, but BookIT certificates can be earned from Mrs. Simpson now.
